We make gaming and betting brands look like they meant it.
3D, campaign artwork, brand, websites and landing pages, from a remote team with 15+ years in the industry. Superpowers include hitting deadlines, reading the T&Cs and resizing one banner into 43 formats without audible sobbing.
We reply within one working day. Mention the Melbourne Cup and watch us move.

The race card
Four things, done properly
All delivered to deadlines set by someone who'd already told the CEO it was finished.
Brand and graphics
Brand refreshes, game logos, promo artwork and the visual system that holds it all together, so every campaign looks like it came from the same place. Especially useful if the current logo was a favour from the founder's nephew.
Campaign and 3D artwork
Key visuals, 3D renders and the full run of assets: banners, social, email and on-site, built as a system so version 43 still matches version one. The Melbourne Cup has been on the first Tuesday in November since 1875, and it still catches most of the industry by surprise.
Websites and landing pages
Sites and campaign landing pages designed and built to convert, with terms and safer gambling messaging where they belong from the first draft. We'll move the button as often as you like, and tell you where it should go.
Website care and hosting
Hosting, updates, security and small changes on a monthly plan, which is how we look after MAX for Tabcorp. On Cup Day we work like it's a public holiday in reverse.

Make games rather than odds?
Console, PC, mobile and esports teams need the same things betting brands do: a site that doesn't look patched on day one, launch creative that stops a thumb mid-scroll, store and landing pages people actually click, and ad creative in every size a UA manager asks for. We make all of it.
Our betting trophy cabinet is fuller than our games one, so the next few studios we work with get more senior attention than is commercially sensible.
Track record
Fifteen years in gaming and betting.
Long enough to remember when mobile-friendly was a selling point.
Sportsbooks, casinos and bingo brands across the UK, Europe and Australia. You won't spend the first month explaining what a multi is, or an acca, depending on your hemisphere.
- Built around the fixturesPromo calendars move with the sport, so compliance sign-off gets planned into the timeline. We design within UK Gambling Commission, CAP and ACMA rules, and hand your compliance team fewer red pens.
- Direct with the makersA small remote team with no agency overheads. You talk to the people doing the work, and specialist partners like Bambuk Studio come in when a job needs them. Nobody's billing you for the office dog.
- AI on the grunt workResizing, versioning and first passes run through AI, which is why turnaround is quick. People do the ideas and the checking, which is how the horse with five legs gets caught before your customers see it.
Regulatory weather warning
Australia is retiring your brand ambassador.
New federal rules on Australian wagering advertising start phasing in from 1 January 2027. Ads can't feature athletes, celebrities or influencers, can't run around daytime live sport broadcasts or at sports venues, and most online and social placements are limited to logged-in adults.
More of the work now lands on the channels you own: your site, app, landing pages and CRM. If a lot of your creative currently stars someone in a jersey, we should talk. We'll even help with the leaving card.

Nice things clients have said, unprompted*
Our gaming creative was a little tired and in need of a significant refresh. I worked closely with HeroBox Studios to change this. Their approach to our projects and response to briefs was second to none, helping to translate raw ideas and formal briefs into visual concepts that captured exactly what we were looking for. The result was a significant upturn in performance across all our acquisition channels.
Keith McKayUK Country Manager, ComeOn!Whenever I work with HeroBox Studios, they always make it a priority to understand my strategies, needs and constraints and by doing so create appropriate, often imaginative, approaches to projects. Their simple, direct approach is refreshing and they're always very easy to work with.
Tom ClappHead of Studio, BetfairHeroBox Studios are always great to work with and any challenge given will not only come up with a solution but one that works best for the creative and product in mind. As well as being very professional, they are also passionate in what they do and easy to work with.
Alistair WilsonSenior Account Manager, BetfairI've worked with the team at HeroBox Studios for over 3 years and they've always been a pleasure to work with. They are resourceful, great communicators and always deliver projects to a very good standard.

Questions we get asked
Answered properly first, then slightly less properly.
What is HeroBox Studios?
HeroBox Studios is a creative and web studio for gaming, betting and iGaming companies, working mainly across Australia and the UK. We design 3D and campaign artwork, brands, websites and landing pages, and look after live sites on monthly care plans. The team is fully remote and has been doing this for 15+ years, which in this industry counts as several lifetimes.
Is there a creative agency that specialises in betting and wagering in Australia?
Yes, HeroBox Studios. We work with Australian wagering operators including Tabcorp, for whom we look after MAX, and we design to Australian advertising rules, including the reforms phasing in from 1 January 2027. There are other agencies, and we're sure their mothers are very proud.
Do you work with UK gambling operators?
Yes. Our clients have included Betfair, ComeOn! and Casumo, and we design within the UK Gambling Commission's rules and the CAP and BCAP advertising codes. We're also happy to work with operators licensed in Ireland, Malta, Gibraltar and the Isle of Man, which covers most of the industry and exactly two types of weather.
Do you work with online casinos?
Yes, for operators licensed in the markets they advertise to, such as the UK, Ireland and Malta. Online casino services can't legally be offered to people in Australia, so our Australian work is wagering, racing and lotteries. We don't work with operators marketing to places they aren't licensed for, however lovely the email.
What's changing for gambling advertising in Australia in 2027?
The Interactive Gambling Amendment (Gambling Reform) Act 2026 passed Parliament in August 2026, and its advertising restrictions start phasing in from 1 January 2027. Wagering ads face bans around daytime live sport broadcasts, at sports venues and on uniforms, can't feature athletes, celebrities or influencers, and most online and social ads are limited to logged-in adults. For operators, that means a lot of creative needs redoing and more of the work shifts to websites, apps and CRM. Check the detail with your lawyers, who charge more than we do and are worse company at the Cup.
Do you work with video game, mobile game and esports companies?
Yes. We design websites, landing and store pages, key art, launch assets and ad creative for console, PC, mobile and esports teams. Our betting portfolio is bigger than our games one, so the next few studios get more senior attention than is commercially sensible.
Do you do 3D?
Yes. We art direct and design 3D logos, key visuals and environments, and bring in specialist 3D partners like Bambuk Studio for production when a project needs them. You get one point of contact and one invoice, and nobody asks you to explain what a slot reel is.
How much does it cost?
Defined work like landing pages, key visuals and asset packs is quoted as a fixed price, and site care and ongoing campaign support run as monthly plans. We quote before anything starts, and if the scope changes we'll tell you before the invoice does.
Do you look after websites after launch?
Yes. Monthly care plans cover hosting, updates, security and a bucket of hours for small changes and urgent fixes. On Melbourne Cup day, Grand National day and grand final weekends, we assume everything is urgent until proven otherwise.
How is HeroBox Studios related to Livmore?
HeroBox Studios is Livmore's gaming and betting studio and shares its delivery team. Livmore builds software, integrations and automation, so when a campaign turns into a proper project, nobody has to go and find another agency.
